What You'll Do Diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer equipment on-site for customers. Assemble, recondition, and perform inspections on equipment. Research and order parts using electronic systems. Maintain accurate repair records and keep your field truck in top condition. Communicate clearly with customers on repair status and completed work. Stay up to date with training and certifications (Factory + VGP Service Schools). Follow DOT, OSHA, and VGP safety standards at all times.
What It Takes Education/Experience:
Degree in Diesel Mechanics/Technology (or similar) + 1 year experience; OR equivalent hands-on background in heavy/industrial equipment.
Lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather, handle high-noise environments.
Credentials:
Valid unrestricted driver's license (CDL may be required); DOT medical card eligibility.
