Job Description

Field Service Technician Immediate Openings Available NFA Environmental is a young company expanding our organization and business reach across the US. We are looking for motivated individuals to transport and operate groundwater remediation trailers throughout the contiguous United States. The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics: safety conscious; mechanically inclined; self-motivating; reliable; and detail oriented. The position requires up to 50% out-of-town work. Work sites will be spread across the contiguous United States and may require stays up to 3 weeks in duration. There will be some air travel required for switching out personnel during long term projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Field (out-of-town) responsibilities: Operate company vehicles safely while towing groundwater remediation trailers to project locations across the contiguous United States Record detailed project notes with photo documentation while in the field Operate gas-powered pumps Work with hand tools to repair and maintain serviceability of pumps and hoses Troubleshoot damaged or malfunctioning equipment in the field Maintain mileage logs and equipment tracking spreadsheets Ability to be away from home for up to 3 weeks Ability to mobilize to the field on short notice is sometimes required Shop (in-town)
Responsibilities:
Maintain readiness of remediation trailers Maintain and organize shop Preventative maintenance of company vehicles, equipment, and trailers Refurbish remediation equipment by degreasing, media blasting, sanding, and painting to improve durability under harsh conditions Previous experience operating a track steer and/or forklift is preferred
Skills/Abilities:
Effective written and verbal communication skills (required) Valid class "C" driver's license. Insurance company will run a driving record check for violations (required) Must be able to lift 75lbs onto the tailgate of a truck (required) A basic understanding of small gas engine repair and operation (preferred) Ability to pass a drug test (required)

Full-time - 40 hours+ per week
Pay:
starting at $20 per hour plus overtime
