Primarily Wednesdays, with occasional weekend service visits as neededJob Summary We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services across customer sites in Irving and Braddock, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, mechanical repair, and small engine service. This position requires someone comfortable working independently in a field-service environment and safely troubleshooting industrial equipment and high-pressure systems. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled weekly service and maintenance visits at customer locations. Service and maintain approximately 12 power wash stations and 20+ foamers and sprayer locations across multiple sites. Troubleshoot electrical issues on industrial power wash stations using a voltmeter and other diagnostic equipment. Diagnose and repair issues involving reset switches, vacuum switches, motors, and related electrical components. Perform maintenance and service checks on PSI and temperature gauges and reset unloaders as required. Inspect and maintain hydraulic systems, including hydraulic pistons and pumps. Use specialized tools, including a slide hammer, to remove packing from hydraulic pistons and pumps and properly repack the equipment. Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and maintain small diesel and gasoline engines. Perform preventive maintenance and identify recurring equipment problems. Follow all applicable safety procedures when working with electrical equipment, hydraulics, and highly pressurized systems. Provide additional service visits on weekends when customer-site downtime requires schedule changes. Required Qualifications Previous experience as a Field Service Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, Equipment Technician, or similar role. Hands-on experience with industrial electrical troubleshooting. Experience working with hydraulic systems, pumps, and pistons. Ability to use a voltmeter and perform electrical diagnostics. Experience repairing small diesel and/or gasoline engines. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Ability to work independently and travel between customer locations. Strong understanding of industrial safety practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience servicing power wash or pressure-washing equipment. Experience with industrial pumps and hydraulic equipment. Experience troubleshooting high-voltage industrial equipment, including 430V motor systems. Field service or mobile maintenance experience. Experience working with industrial cleaning equipment, foamers, sprayers, or similar systems. Compensation & Travel Part-time contract position Up to 30 hours per week Approximately 1-year contract Mileage reimbursement provided Company vehicle and/or fuel card may be considered Occasional weekend service may be required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on industrial field service professional who can independently troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and small-engine problems.
