We're hiring an experienced Mobile Field Service Technician to service diesel trucks, bucket trucks, boom trucks, and utility equipment across the Central PA area — no two days look the same, and you'll run your own truck like it's your business.
Schedule Note:
This role is starting with a new customer account, so the position begins with a noon start time while the work is focused on PMs for vehicles and equipment. Once equipment starts failing inspection and repair work ramps up, earlier start times (as early as 7:00 AM) will become available.

A typical day:
Roll out in your company F-550 to service customer fleets on-site Perform PM service, DOT inspections, and annual safety inspections Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, PTOs, and driveline components Work on bucket trucks, boom trucks, digger derricks, and utility bodies Run ANSI boom inspections and dielectric testing (we'll train you if you're new to it) Document your work, then move to the next stop — mostly independent, customer-facing work What you bring: 3+ years repairing medium- or heavy-duty diesel trucks Some hands-on experience with bucket trucks, boom trucks, or utility equipment (doesn't need to be your main background) Solid mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills Valid driver's license, clean driving record Comfortable working independently in the field Open to overnight travel 2-4 nights/month Nice to have (not required): ANSI boom inspection or dielectric testing experience DOT inspection certification Prior mobile field service experience
CDL Schedule:
Full-time. Starts at noon initially while this new customer account is focused on PM work; start times will shift earlier (as early as 7:00 AM) as repair volume increases.
