Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, flood, mold, and asbestos-related incidents, demonstrating emergency response readiness. Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation using appropriate tools and techniques. Conduct fire restoration activities such as soot and smoke cleanup while adhering to safety protocols. Execute flood and water damage restoration procedures utilizing specialized equipment like moisture meters and pumps. Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment following all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Assist with mold remediation and asbestos abatement projects ensuring proper containment and disposal procedures are followed. Apply Xactimate estimating software for damage assessment and documentation; maintain detailed records of work performed. Use respiratory protection gear and personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently to ensure safety during all restoration activities. Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process, maintaining clear communication and professionalism. Support on-call coverage as needed for after-hours emergencies, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to client needs. Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred. Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement techniques is a strong advantage. Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software enhances your ability to accurately document damages. Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and construction materials is desirable. Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols including respiratory protection use and PPE adherence is essential. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude will help you succeed in this fast-paced environment.
