Child and Family Services is seeking a CPS Field Service Specialist to work remote in North Dakota statewide. Play a vital role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of child welfare practices with the ND Health and Human Services Child and Family Services Division. As a CPS Field Service Specialist , you will closely collaborate with CFS program administrators and County Zone staff, sharing information and discussing trends identified during quality and fidelity reviews to enhance ongoing service quality. You will deliver technical assistance, consultation, training, and mentoring to staff, along with providing continuous training for the child welfare practice model. You will contribute to decision-making processes, exchange information, and discuss improvements. You will offer assistance, oversight, and coordination of services for all child welfare issues, with a specific focus on child abuse and neglect. Additionally, you will engage in community education on child welfare programs, attend planned appeal hearings, and schedule and participate in meetings about child protection. To be successful in this position , you must have proven experience in child welfare services, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of child welfare practice models and regulations. Your ability to work collaboratively and independently, along with proficiency in providing training and mentoring support, will contribute to your success. To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, human services, child development, family science, or criminal justice; AND five (5) years of professional work experience as a child protection worker.
