A Field Service Technician services and repairs equipment and machines in a variety of customer locations such as residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Workers in this field can specialize in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of industrial, hardware, construction or electronic equipment just to name a few. These roles may work in a variety of remote locations and can travel up to multiple locations in a day.
This is a Hybrid position with a large amount of travel involved based at our location in Goldsboro, NC. No Visa sponsorships are available for this position. The incumbent supports installation and ensures the maintenance for the mechanical side of production equipment across all sites covered under

Americas. This includes supporting the management, repair and improvement of any and all production equipment (including mechanical, automation, and some electrical) across the 6 sites under
MANN+HUMMEL LS&E
Americas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all technical processes in the plant are reliable, cost-effective and meet the MANN+HUMMEL and legal standards, focusing on mechanical side
Support the categorization of spare parts that have to be available on-site to minimize downtime
Initiate, implement, coordinate and monitor all Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Processes in various plants
Control the machine and technical equipment within the
MANN+HUMMEL
production plant and ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained during the serial production
Manage the maintenance activities and ensure that all technical standards and requirements are met
Support Maintenance Manager at various sites in completion of projects, troubleshooting equipment, training maintenance personnel, etc.
Initiate corrective actions in case of deviations and coordinate the corrective activities
Ensure that all relevant documentation in the area of responsibility is available and up-to date
Contribute to continuous improvement in design of new equipment
Ensure and maintain all records as per ISO Standards
Other duties as assigned as related to the business needs
REQUIREMENTS
Education, Experience and Required Skills:
Technical school degree/certification or above in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Equipment Engineering OR a minimum of 5 years' recent working experience in mechanical maintenance within a large fast-paced manufacturing environment
Familiar with product manufacturing and fabrication processes
Familiar with production procedures and quality standards
Experienced in machine management
Knowledge on handling ISO requirements
Knowledge in mechanical troubleshooting, pneumatics, tool/part identification, general electrical Forklift/Scissor Lift certifications/experience
Relevant IT tools (MS Office, SAP, etc.)
Experience with CMMS systems (FIIX, SAP, etc.)
Keyence, Banner, Siemens, Allan Bradley familiarity Availability to travel up to 70 - 80% both domestic and international (U.S. and Canada) including some overnights
Preferred Experience & Skills:
OSHA 10/OSHA 30
certified Multi-lingual in English/Spanish/French/German #LI - Hybrid
