Managed Services Break/Fix Power Tools Issue Tracking Computer Networking Communication Attention To Detail Management CompTIA Repair Computer Hardware Laptop Point Of Sale Servers Wireless Networking Account Management Organizational Skills Cabling Printers Customer Service Summary Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician for a 3-month contract in Chattanooga, TN 37410. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future. Our client is a multibillion-dollar company that provides end-to-end managed services, technology, and consulting to enable the digital workplace for small to enterprise businesses. Contract Duration:

3 months Required Skills & Experience At least a year of field dispatch repair and hands-on hardware experience (printers, PCs, POS, etc.), break-fix, use of power tools (e.g., drills), and familiarity with the ticketing system. Knowledge of computer?hardware, software, printers, networking, cable management/installation, and common restaurant technologies. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. Possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and strong technical ability. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize issues, and maintain accurate records. Willing to utilize a ladder (10 ft. reach). Able to lift 50 lbs. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. CompTIA A+ preferred Reliable transportation and clean driving record required (This is a driving position - reimbursed accordingly) Active driver's license. What You Will Be Doing Diagnose and perform service, repair, and/or installation of computer products including system hardware, software, MFD printers, wide format printers, PC's, laptops, POS, single and multi-processor servers, and wired/wireless networking. Perform account management and maintenance for various applications and systems Implement basic cable management: Organizing cables using trays, raceways, or ties to prevent damage and improve airflow. Provide technical assistance to customers while onsite Perform routine maintenance on laser and wide-format printers to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. Responsible for personal quality of workmanship and taking all necessary precautions to prevent customer service disruptions. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions Maintain OEM certifications as assigned and required Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools ("AI") that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
