Job Description

Mark C. Pope Associates, Inc. was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Smyrna, GA. The company is comprised of three independent business units that distribute industrial products. The Motive Power Division sells and supports industrial forklift batteries and chargers. Mark C. Pope is currently a distributor for Crown Battery, Eternity Battery, Infinity Chargers, and Ecotec Chargers. The field service technician will be responsible for the following: Driving a company service truck, in and around the Atlanta metro servicing our customers. Managing a truck inventory and properly accounting for parts used during service. Repairing and providing maintenance services for industrial batteries and chargers. Providing great customer service and detailed description of work completed. Troubleshooting equipment service issues. Applicants for this position must have the following: GED or High School Diploma Driver's License Good driving record Mechanical experience and/or educational training. Ability to read and understand parts diagrams, wiring diagrams and schematics. Great customer service skills. This position would carry full-time status and require a minimum work week of 40 hours with the potential for overtime.
