Job Title:
Field Service Technician Job Description Join a leading global organization in precision CNC machinery known for its technical excellence, strong customer partnerships, and high-quality service. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers at their facilities, ensuring their machines operate at peak performance. This position involves providing advanced on-site and remote technical support, performing installations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across various product lines. You will mentor junior team members, apply your mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise, and use specialized software tools to troubleshoot and optimize machine performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Mentor and coach junior technicians in their technical capabilities. Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and tele service. Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery malfunctions at customer sites. Execute installations, repairs, inspections, setups, and tests on machine product lines with minimal guidance. Dismantle defective components or equipment and install, adjust, and test new or repaired parts to company standards. Clean and lubricate machinery parts such as shafts, bearings, and gears. Install and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, coolant, or pneumatic systems associated with machinery. Return all remaining parts with the correct paperwork and packaging to the company's office. Submit service paperwork and expenses weekly and update the team with daily updates. Maintain a neatly organized, clean, and safe work area. Adhere to all customer and company-specified safety requirements. Maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity while working on-site or in the office. Essential Skills 5+ years of related field service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex machinery. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, technical manuals, schematics, and procedures. Valid driver's license. Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and meet required physical demands. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience mentoring or supporting junior technicians is preferred. Why Work Here?
