$30-$40 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical & gas fired systems at customer facilities throughout North America. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial electrical & gas systems, control panels, PLC troubleshooting, instrumentation, and field service work. This position requires travel to customer locations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and equipment reliability. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical & gas system and equipment issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and testing equipment Program, diagnose, and repair PLC-controlled systems, temperature controllers, high-limit controls, sensors, and related instrumentation Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance Conduct equipment startups, commissioning, and operational testing Train customers in proper equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety practices Provide technical support to customers both onsite and remotely Complete service reports, expense reports, and documentation accurately and on time Coordinate travel, materials, and service activities as required Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex field issues Adhere to all company and customer safety standards and regulations Qualifications Experience in field service, industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, or industrial equipment repair Strong knowledge of high voltage systems, control panels, industrial equipment, and safety procedures Experience programming (building profiles) & troubleshooting PLCs, temperature controllers, high-limit systems, and process controls preferred Read and interpret electrical & gas schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required Passport or ability to obtain one for North American travel preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift 100 pounds Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and reaching Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment Close vision required for inspections, diagnostics, and repairs Travel Regular travel to customer locations throughout North America Company-paid travel expenses and accommodation provided Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $30-$40 per hour, based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan with company match Professional development opportunities
