Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Advance your nursing skills in a dynamic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environment specializing in Stepdown care. This contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care, while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The assignment spans 13 weeks, offering a fast-paced and supportive clinical setting.
Schedule:
3x12 hour shifts per week Night shifts Consecutive shifts will be prioritized, but specific days per week cannot be guaranteed
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing At least 2 years of recent experience as a PCU/Stepdown/Telemetry RN Proven competency with medication drips ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) are required and must be current Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) Supervise, delegate, and document patient care and family education Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding pertinent patient and family information Participate in developing and implementing solutions to achieve patient care goals Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to evidence-based standards of care
