Position Summary This position is responsible for : The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as having the ability to work on equipment discretely in the customers office. The duties will be performed with professionalism and respect for the customers environment, while providing an excellent quality of work. This role will report directly to their assigned Service Manager. Hours of Work are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. After hours and weekend coverage paid as overtime if needed and approved. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Always exhibits professional appearance and demeanor.
- Attend training and achieve certifications to support Americom vendors we service
- Provides technical assistance and training to end users.
- Maintains productive, professional relationship with all Americom personnel and serves as a role model.
- A positive and contributing team member.
- Ability to repair and maintain printers and copiers.
- Use of Remote Tech and other applications to perform service calls
- Completes technical training on new equipment as assigned.
- Effectively executes all required assigned territory management and call handling procedures.
- Collaboration with NexeraBEI on Service Manger Assessments, Audits, and Metrics
- Tracking and updating their individual inventory and carstock
- Assumes responsibilities assigned by the Field Service Manager as required.
- Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Responsible for operating any Americom company vehicle
- Helps identify upsell opportunities while installing the devices. For example, MPS, MNS, phone systems, uniflow etc… (Will be paid additionally on lead fees)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Requires knowledge of computer operating systems; network design, implementation, and servicing; and familiarity with a wide range of software applications. Possesses a methodical approach to resolving problems. Possesses strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills. Possesses excellent customer service skills including ability to follow up to ensure closure of issues. Possesses the ability to effectively communicate with customers. Possesses ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of technical manuals, parts books, and relevant publications in support of the service of digitized output devices. Possesses ability to convey technical information through training seminars, written, or verbal communication. Possesses ability to write, assemble and distribute technical information relative to connectivity.
