Service Technician — Industrial Machinery Full-time | Field-based, North America | 40-70% travel If you'd rather spend your week solving real problems on a plant floor than sitting at the same desk every day, this one is worth a look. We're hiring a Service Technician to install, start up, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery at customer sites across North America. You'll work independently most of the time, with a team behind you when a problem gets stubborn. It's hands-on work on advanced equipment, and no two weeks look quite the same. The Work Travel to customer sites for machine installation, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair Train customer personnel on how to run and maintain their equipment Answer technical questions by phone and email Write up service reports and keep documentation current Pitch in on machine testing and production support when you're back in-house Work directly with customers, vendors, and internal departments to get technical issues resolved What You Bring 3+ years in technical service or industrial maintenance Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting instincts Hands-on experience with PLCs, motors, drives, pneumatics, and industrial controls Willingness to travel extensively (40-70%) The communication skills to represent us well in front of a customer The judgment to run a service call on your own and handle it professionally Nice to Have Sawmill, planer mill, material handling equipment, or new machine installation experience Rockwell / RSLogix / Allen Bradley / A+ / Mitsubishi Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics ERP or CRM systems, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks Machining experience Travel, Handled Right We know the road is the hardest part of this job, so we don't make you absorb the cost of it.
