Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of UPS, PDU, and battery systems. Diagnose electrical and electronic faults and restore equipment to full operation. Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers. Communicate with Technical Support for complex troubleshooting. Implement Field Change Notices and follow technical service procedures. Complete service reports, work orders, timecards, expense reports, and inventory documentation. Maintain company vehicle, tools, PPE, and test equipment. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high first-time fix rates. Follow company safety standards and wear required PPE. Participate in customer meetings and provide timely service updates. Travel to customer sites as required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Vocational School Diploma. 0-2 years of field service or electrical/electronics experience OR 2-4 years of military technical experience. Associate degree (ASEET/AMEET) preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, and troubleshooting. Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters. Ability to read electrical schematics, technical manuals, and service documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license. Preferred Skills Experience servicing UPS systems, batteries, or power distribution equipment. Knowledge of preventive maintenance and break-fix service. Familiarity with critical power or data center environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently after training.
