Job Description

As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing expert technical support and service to our customers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of Honeywell Building Automation systems. You will lead field service activities, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior technicians to maintain high standards of service delivery. You will report directly to our Senior Field Service, Manager and you will work out of our Herndon, VA location on a Hybrid/Remote work schedule. In this role, you will impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by delivering timely and effective technical solutions, enhancing system uptime, and supporting the growth of Honeywell's Building Automation business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and coordinate field service activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery for building automation systems. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues on-site to minimize downtime and maximize system performance. Mentor and guide junior field service technicians to develop their technical skills and improve service quality.

MUST HAVE
Five years' experience in field service roles, preferably with HVAC building automation or related systems. Strong technical knowledge of building control systems, sensors, and energy management technologies. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic and mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality. Experience with diagnostic tools and software used in building automation service and maintenance.
WE VALUE
Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field related to electronics, HVAC/Mechanical, or building automation. Proven leadership experience in field service or technical support roles. Ability to mentor and develop junior technicians and foster teamwork. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach. Knowledge of safety standards and compliance in field service operations.
