+ Fuel Card ️ Paid Travel Time ️ Quarterly Tool Allowance

+ Safety Boot Reimbursement Cell Phone Allowance Paid Linde OEM Training

+ Ongoing Technical Training Monday-Friday | Daytime Field Service Full-Time | Stable, Year-Round Work This isn't a general diesel or heavy-equipment mechanic opening. We're specifically looking for an experienced technician who already knows electric forklifts and battery-powered material handling equipment — and we're starting at $35/hour+ for that expertise. You know the difference between replacing a component and actually diagnosing the failure. You're comfortable working through electrical schematics, controllers, contactors, sensors, wiring, motors, industrial batteries, charging systems, and intermittent electrical faults. And you're experienced enough to work independently at customer locations, make sound diagnostic decisions, communicate clearly with customers, and get equipment safely back into operation. If that's your background, WMH Solutions wants to meet you. We're hiring a Senior Electric Forklift Technician to support customers throughout Cheraw, Chesterfield County, and the surrounding South Carolina service territory. Diesel, automotive, or general heavy-equipment experience alone will not substitute for the hands-on electric material handling experience required for this position. Why Experienced Technicians Choose WMH You've invested years developing specialized technical skills. Your next company should recognize the value of them. At WMH, you'll receive: ✓ Starting at $35/hour+ — Higher Starting Compensation Based on Experience & Technical Expertise ✓ Technician Performance Incentives ✓ Take-Home Service Van ✓ Paid Travel Time ✓ Company Fuel Card ✓ Quarterly Tool Allowance ✓ Safety Boot / PPE Allowance ✓ Cell Phone Allowance ✓ Paid Linde Material Handling OEM Training ✓ Ongoing Technical Training ✓ Diagnostic Laptop

The Experience We Need For this opening, electric forklift experience isn't simply preferred — it's essential. We're looking for someone with demonstrated hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing electric forklifts or closely related battery-powered material handling equipment. 5+ years of professional forklift/material handling service experience preferred , or equivalent demonstrated technical capability Hands-on electric forklift repair and diagnostic experience —

Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic ability Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Experience using a digital multimeter and electrical diagnostic equipment Working knowledge of electric motors, controllers, contactors, sensors, wiring, and related systems Experience with industrial batteries and charging systems Hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting capability Ability to independently diagnose complex or intermittent equipment faults Experience performing repairs at customer locations Strong service documentation and customer communication skills Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable for company vehicle use Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of field-service work Excellent — we'd absolutely like to hear from you. Experience with other major material handling manufacturers is also valuable. Linde-specific experience is not required. Electric forklift expertise is. We'd rather be transparent about the experience we're seeking. This particular opening probably isn't the right match if your background is primarily: Automotive repair with little or no forklift experience Diesel or heavy-equipment repair without electric forklift exposure Preventive maintenance without diagnostic responsibility General mechanical repair without electrical troubleshooting Manufacturing maintenance without hands-on material handling equipment experience Those backgrounds can be valuable for other WMH technician opportunities. For this position, we specifically need someone who can step into electric forklift diagnostics with an established technical foundation. "Senior" isn't just a number of years on a résumé. It's what you're capable of doing when the problem isn't obvious.

Our strongest senior technicians:

✓ Diagnose before replacing parts ✓ Understand how electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems interact ✓ Can trace an electrical fault through a schematic ✓ Approach intermittent problems methodically ✓ Complete quality repairs designed to prevent repeat failures ✓ Work confidently and independently in the field ✓ Communicate technical findings in a way customers understand ✓ Maintain accurate service documentation ✓ Take ownership of their territory, van, tools, and customer relationships ✓ Share technical knowledge with less-experienced technicians ✓ Continue learning as equipment technology evolves You don't need to know every machine. You do need the technical foundation and diagnostic mindset to figure out what's happening when the answer isn't obvious. This is a field-based position supporting customers throughout Cheraw, Chesterfield County, and the surrounding service territory. You'll operate from a company-provided take-home service van , with Take-home service van Company fuel card ️ Paid travel time Diagnostic laptop and service resources ️ Tool support and quarterly allowance The role is designed for an experienced technician capable of managing service calls independently while remaining connected to WMH's broader technical, service, and OEM support network.
