WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will work with an experienced team to: Find and repair water leaks and sewer problems Install and repair water and sewer lines, meters, valves, and fire hydrants Clear sewer blockages and storm drains Maintain pump stations and lift stations Operate trucks, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery Restore streets, yards, and other areas following utility work Respond when the community needs help during utility emergencies Provide professional service to residents and customers
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and ready for hands-on work.
Minimum qualifications include:
High school diploma or GED At least six months of water-sewer or related industry experience At least six months of heavy construction equipment experience Valid South Carolina driver's license Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work Ability to participate in on-call rotations and emergency callbacks Willingness to obtain a Class D Water Distribution license within one year and a Class C license within two years A Class B CDL, current Water Distribution license, or experience with underground utilities and heavy equipment is preferred.
