Job Description

What we do: From large chains to local restaurants and hospital kitchens, TRP Services handles all commercial appliance repair needs. We repair cooking, refrigeration, HVAC, ware washing, beverage, and ice equipment. Plus, we offer comprehensive maintenance programs to keep facilities up and running to avoid downtime, minimize unexpected service calls, and maximize the service life of all kitchen equipment. Food Service Equipment Technician Requirements
  • Diagnose & repair gas cooking equipment
  • Diagnose & repair kitchen ventilation hoods
  • Diagnose & repair Walk-In Coolers & Freezers
  • Diagnose & repair commercial refrigeration units
  • Diagnose & repair RTU rooftop units, economizers, make-up air, exhaust fans
  • Receive dispatched scheduled calls as assigned and ensure prompt response based on schedule
  • Document all work performed and close out all activities upon completion
  • Accurately maintain tools and inventory on a service vehicle
  • Clear communication is essential to be able to communicate to both customers and co-workers To perform this job successfully, the Technician must be self-motivated and have the ability to stay on task with minimal supervision. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
  • Strong mechanical background
  • General knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner
  • Food and Beverage equipment service & installation experience a plus, but not required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Mobile electronics experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a Background/Drug Screen
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
EPA Certified Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
