Radon Mitigation Lead Technician

Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Radon Mitigation Technician and play a vital role in ensuring safe indoor environments by effectively reducing radon levels in residential and commercial properties. This energetic position involves installing, inspecting, and maintaining radon mitigation systems while adhering to strict safety protocols. As a key member of our radon and environmental services team, you'll contribute to healthier living spaces, providing peace of mind to our clients through expert service and technical excellence. This paid position offers opportunities for growth within the restoration industry, combining hands-on work with ongoing training in safety, technical skills, and customer service. Responsibilities Install, inspect, and service radon mitigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques to ensure optimal performance. Follow detailed safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection during all phases of work. Conduct thorough assessments of properties to determine appropriate mitigation solutions, including the use of Xactimate for estimating project costs. Maintain a clean work environment by performing cleaning tasks related to restoration projects such as water damage or flood restoration when needed. Respond promptly to emergency situations involving water damage, flood restoration, or fire incidents. Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Communicate clearly with clients about project scope, safety procedures, and system operation to ensure customer satisfaction and understanding. Skills Knowledge of the construction and or the plumbing industry is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with clients. Familiarity with safety protocols including respiratory protection and proper PPE. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
