Job Description

RESTORATION TECHNICIAN
Experience Preferred $18-$23 — Training Provided $16-$18 Kingsley Water Damage & Fire Cleanup is hiring entry-level and experienced Restoration Technicians in West Columbia, SC. We pay for your IICRC training—or pay you a $1,000 bonus if you're already certified. What we need from you is a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and the willingness to show up when a family's home is underwater at 2 a.m.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Respond to water, fire, and storm damage calls Set up drying equipment, perform water extraction, demolition, and containment Take moisture readings, job photos, and maintain accurate documentation in Encircle Keep trucks, tools, and equipment clean and ready to deploy Follow Kingsley SOPs and IICRC standards under supervision Treat every customer with respect on one of the worst days of their year Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation during assigned weeks Stay storm-ready during hurricane season for potential large-loss deployments

Restoration TechnicianLearn the trade and master the hands-on work. You will perform extraction, equipment setup, demolition, containment, monitoring, cleaning, and other restoration services while learning proper documentation and job procedures. Client ManagerThis is the bridge between technician and Project Manager. You begin taking ownership of the entire job and customer experience while still working in the field. You will manage the customer, documentation, job progress, and decision-making while performing restoration work alongside a technician/helper. Project ManagerYou manage multiple active projects and direct the technicians performing the fieldwork. Your focus shifts from performing the labor to planning jobs, managing customers, documenting files, monitoring progress, directing technicians, solving problems, and making sure every project moves from emergency response through completion correctly. Advancement is earned, not automatic. We are looking for technicians who want to learn, take ownership, and develop into future Project Managers. Along the way, Kingsley invests in your development: Company-paid IICRC certifications including WRT, ASD, AMRT, and FSRT $1/hour raise for each certification earned beyond WRT $1/hour skill raise for scoring 80% or higher on our internal assessment Hands-on training in restoration, documentation, customer management, and job leadership
WHAT YOU NEED
Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test and comply with random testing Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined spaces Ability to work in heat, cold, and wet conditions and wear required PPE, including a respirator Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends during assigned on-call weeks Basic math competency Professional communication skills Dependability—you show up when you say you will
NICE TO HAVE, NOT REQUIRED
Construction, restoration, trades, warehouse, landscaping, or other hands-on work experience Existing IICRC certifications—we will train you if you don't have them Customer service or hospitality experience Experience documenting work or managing customers
PAY AND BENEFITS
