Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Essential functions as outlined in Field Services Tech III.
- Perform repairs, upgrades, or replacements needed on the system.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and display outstanding contribution and impact to the team and projects.
- Has critical project technical leadership responsibility; may plan or delegate work assignments to lower level technicians.
- Has knowledge of the business side, and contributes to strategic decisions.
- May perform limited engineering work.
- Ensure that all processes and inspections are followed and compliant to specifications.
- Provide input for system user manuals.
- Train system users as needed.
- May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in engineering, or related technical field, or experience in lieu of education.
- 7+ years in aviation or electrical/mechanical is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior in‑theatre experience is preferred.
- Prior military experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities as outlined in Field Services Tech III.
- Full understanding of system and platform.
