Full Job Description Summary:
Provide field support for deployed systems.
Essential Functions:
Essential functions as outlined in Field Services Tech III. Perform repairs, upgrades, or replacements needed on the system. Troubleshoot complex system issues and display outstanding contribution and impact to the team and projects. Has critical project technical leadership responsibility; may plan or delegate work assignments to lower level technicians. Has knowledge of the business side, and contributes to strategic decisions. May perform limited engineering work. Ensure that all processes and inspections are followed and compliant to specifications. Provide input for system user manuals. Train system users as needed. May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in engineering, or related technical field, or experience in lieu of education. 7+ years in aviation or electrical/mechanical is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior in‑theatre experience is preferred. Prior military experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities as outlined in Field Services Tech III. Full understanding of system and platform.
Physical Requirements:
Jobs will be performed while sitting or standing. Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials, occasionally in difficult work positions. Occasional lifting of items. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Working Conditions:
A production environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
