As a family-run, locally operated company with more than 650 machines in the field, we serve offices, schools, nursing homes, hotels, industrial facilities, and more with responsive, relationship-based service.

Position Summary Brainerd Vending is looking for a hands-on Operations Support team member to help keep our routes, machines, and customers running smoothly. This role blends field support with technical service — covering delivery routes when needed, installing and servicing vending equipment, and troubleshooting issues on-site. It's a strong fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable with technology, and enjoys a mix of driving, physical work, and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Serve as a backup delivery driver, covering scheduled routes when regular drivers are on PTO or out sick Install and replace vending machines at customer locations, including setup, leveling, and initial stocking Program and configure Cantaloupe cashless payment and telemetry systems on new or replacement vending equipment Set up ParLevel vending management software on new or replacement vending equipment Learn and become proficient across all company delivery routes to provide reliable backup coverage Communicate professionally with customers on-site to maintain strong customer relationships Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and machine status Perform other operational duties as assigned to support the vending team Eventually, respond to service and repair calls, diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and payment-system issues on vending machines Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in vending, delivery, route sales, field service, or equipment repair preferred. However, willing to train the right candidate. Comfortable learning and working with technology, including Cantaloupe cashless payment systems and ParLevel vending management software Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and move vending equipment and product (up to 50 lbs regularly, more with assistance during installations) Reliable, punctual, and flexible — able to step in on short notice to cover routes or service calls Able to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple stops Positive, customer-focused attitude Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. Some flexibility may be required to cover routes.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
