Job Summary

The Restoration Office Specialist within Strategic Operations is responsible for conducting research, outlining and organizing content, troubleshooting, writing, and creating the best office and administrative resources in the restoration industry. This position focuses on the office and administrative side of the job lifecycle — including job file coordination, billing, audit, and collections — and reports to the Director, Restoration.

You will

Conduct research to identify market demands, standards, best practices, trends, and current franchise office and administrative performance (e.g., job file management, billing, audit, and collections).

Outline and organize content, helping successfully compile and communicate office and administrative processes to non-technical stakeholders, including franchise Job File Coordinators and office teams.

Troubleshoot and propose solutions for complex office and administrative process issues, enabling service improvement across franchise office operations.

Develop and maintain resources (i.e., job aids, checklists, and forms) which are comprehensive and enable quality and reliable franchise execution of office and administrative restoration processes.

Partner with Restoration Specialists and other Strategic Operations teammates to ensure alignment between field and office processes throughout the job lifecycle (lead intake, scheduling, file review, estimating, billing, audit, and closeout).

Spearhead communications to the franchise office staff and other headquarters teammates.

You have

2 years office, job file coordination, billing, estimating, or administrative experience required; experience in the restoration or construction industry preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in conveying technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Comfortable being on camera and presenting information during virtual meetings/webinars, as well as pre-recorded sessions.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to read, write, and speak to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.

Adaptable and able to continually learn and grow.

Collaborate with others and work effectively in a team environment, complete assigned work with a high level of accuracy

Intermediate problem-solving abilities.

Advanced attention to detail

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, construction management, or a related field; or comparable experience
