JOB SUMMARY
We are hiring a Field Service Representative responsible for inspecting installation jobs, measuring new homes for cabinet layouts, and completing warranty and unoccupied service work. This position manages an assigned zone/area and ensures all installations meet company standards and builder expectations. The role requires strong communication with builders, customers, and subcontractors, along with maintaining accurate documentation and delivering excellent customer satisfaction. The workday will begin at the company's Cedar Hill location and will end back at the Cedar Hill location after the assigned service schedule has been completed. A company van will be provided for field operations, along with the necessary tools and equipment and a company toll tag for approved toll-road travel.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
High school diploma or GED 3-5 years of construction experience and/or kitchen cabinet customer service experience Strong communication and customer service skills Proficient with iPad/Android tablet Ability to work independently and interact professionally with management, builders, and field personnel Excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability, and strong attention to detail Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and changing priorities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Clean background Ability to safely operate a company-provided vehicle Ability to use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly field position. The position regularly works at customer homes, construction sites, builder locations, and other residential and commercial job sites. The employee may be exposed to dust, noise, construction activity, varying temperatures, uneven surfaces, and other conditions normally associated with residential and commercial construction environments. The employee is expected to follow all applicable company safety procedures and job-site requirements while performing field duties.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee must be able to perform the physical duties associated with field service work. These duties include, but are not limited to: Standing and walking for extended periods Bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching Climbing stairs and navigating residential and construction job sites Working in occupied and unoccupied homes and active construction environments Safely lifting, carrying, loading, unloading, and maneuvering cabinetry components, tools, and materials Tools, cabinetry components, and other materials may weigh 50 pounds or more Maintaining sufficient physical ability and coordination to safely perform required service, inspection, measurement, and installation-related tasks

WORKDAY EXPECTATIONS
The Field Service Representative is expected to: Start each workday at the Cedar Hill location Complete the assigned daily service, inspection, and/or measurement schedule Return to the Cedar Hill location at the end of the scheduled workday Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional condition Accurately document completed service work, inspections, measurements, and required photos Provide professional customer and builder service throughout the workday Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and job-site requirements Woodmont Cabinetry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
