Salary:
$30.00 - $48.00 per hour Job Summary We are looking for an experienced air compressor technician that wants to get in on the ground floor of a growing compressed air equipment and service company here in central Texas. We are seeking a highly skilled Air Compressor Service Technician Lead to service and repair multiple brands of air compressors and compressed air equipment. This position includes maintenance, troubleshooting, piping, installation of new equipment, Responsibilities Service, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all types of air compressors and dryers, including rotary screw, reciprocating, diesel, desiccant, and refrigerated dryers Install air compressors, dryers, filters, piping, and related compressed air equipment Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, refrigeration, and electrical issues Provide professional, practical, and problem-solving technical solutions Read and interpret field service manuals, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams
Requirements:
Strong pneumatic and electrical experience Ability to diagnose 24-480 volt circuits using a multimeter Electrical and electronic components Variable speed drives (VSD/VFD) Motor starting configurations Single-phase and three-phase systems Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
