Lead Water Technician G2 Restoration McKinney, TX Job Details Full-time $22.50 - $30.00 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication In-person customer service Moving High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Water Mitigation Technician - Lead G2 is a full service General Restoration company servicing the North Texas region. We specialize in a broad scope of construction and repair services for both residential and commercial properties.
Summary:
Lead Water Technician will support the cleanup and restoration of water and mold damaged of residential and commercial buildings by traveling to damaged homes or businesses. Will work alongside and oversee the team responding to the restoration call.
Reports to:
Water Mitigation manager
Responsibilities:
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Communicate with home and business owners as well as management Establishes and records the scope of work to be accomplished Coordinates and supervises work on Mitigation/Emergency calls (including deodorization, pack-outs, board-ups) Removal of water and mold damaged building materials. Oversees equipment maintenance and inventory Maintain correct equipment in vans and jobs. Trains and supervises water technicians Ensure correct documentation is in our job management system and monitor jobs/Technicians for accuracy Performs on-call rotation and responds to Emergency calls within the G2 standards Completes jobs successfully and obtains proper documentation including but not limited to: work authorization, claim number, cos, etc. Set up and maintenance of drying chambers inside of water damaged buildings and homes. Oversee work vehicles and check for correct equipment. Treatment and removal of mold growth of residential and commercial buildings as needed Set up of dehumidifiers, fans and air scrubbers in order to remediate and dry buildings Documenting moister meter reading of water and mold damaged buildings.
Requirements:
Experience working in restoration industry is preferred Proven ability to remain organized while working under difficult conditions. Strong communication skills Must have sporadic availability for weekend/emergency calls Must be able to multitask and prioritize Must be a team player Must be detail oriented Must be a self-starter and self-motivated Must be organized Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and to interact professionally with customers High School diploma Prefer 2 years' experience in Water Restoration Must be able to move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
