Restoration Technician - Water Mitigation Dry Force | Houston, TX Join a Team That Turns Chaos Into Calm Dry Force is seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our Houston team as Water Mitigation Technicians . No extensive industry experience is required—we provide training, coaching, and opportunities for advancement. If you enjoy helping people, working with your hands, and being part of a fast-paced team, we want to hear from you. As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will assist customers after water, flood, or storm-related losses by setting up drying equipment, monitoring drying progress, and helping restore properties to pre-loss condition. Our technicians are often the first face a customer sees after a stressful event, making professionalism and customer service essential. Responsibilities Respond to water damage and emergency mitigation projects Extract water and remove damaged, non-salvageable materials as directed Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers Document drying progress using a company-provided mobile device Perform moisture readings and follow restoration protocols Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site Drive company vehicles safely while following company policies and traffic laws Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds regularly Ability to work in varying environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions Reliable transportation to and from the office Positive attitude and strong work ethic Customer service experience is a plus Restoration, construction, or labor experience is welcomed but not required IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification is preferred but not required Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply What We Offer Health Insurance 100% Paid by Company for Employee Vision, Dental, Long/Short term Disability 401 K With Company Matching Life Insurance Paid Vacation, Sick time and Holidays Monthly Bonus Incentive Company Vehicle Advancement Potential Ongoing training, coaching and guidance to help you be the best you can be.
