This position is ideal for someone with an electrical, electronics, industrial maintenance, or technical service background who enjoys hands-on work, travel, and solving problems in the field. As a Field Service Technician, you'll travel to customer locations to perform maintenance, battery replacements, inspections, and troubleshooting on emergency lighting inverter systems while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Travel to customer facilities in a company-provided vehicle Perform preventative maintenance and service on emergency lighting inverter systems Install and replace batteries within inverter systems Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical and equipment issues Ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards Complete service reports and documentation accurately and timely Utilize company-issued tools, software, and testing equipment Follow

safety procedures and company safety protocols Assist senior technicians with service assignments and ongoing training Deliver professional, customer-focused service at all times Work occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight travel as customer schedules require QualificationsRequired Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field; OR Equivalent technical training and/or hands-on field service experience Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Experience using electrical testing equipment such as: Digital Multimeters Oscilloscopes Power Supplies Power Analyzers Variacs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel Excellent communication and customer service abilities Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Preferred Electrical Technician experience Electronics Technician experience Industrial Maintenance experience Field Service experience Military electronics or electrical training Generator, UPS, battery backup, or power systems experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move equipment and components up to 50 lbs.
