A Field Service Technician services and repairs equipment and machines in a variety of customer locations such as residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Workers in this field can specialize in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of industrial, hardware, construction or electronic equipment just to name a few. These roles may work in a variety of remote locations and can travel up to multiple locations in a day.

1+ years of relevant experience in the trades Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work such as digging Comfortable using mobile apps and technology in the field Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Core Responsibilities:
Diagnose irrigation system issues including leaks, broken pipes, faulty valves, wiring problems, and controller failures Perform sprinkler repairs and system adjustments efficiently and correctly the first time Conduct system inspections to ensure proper coverage, water efficiency, and lawn health Install or modify irrigation components such as sprinkler heads, drip systems, valves, and controllers Program smart controllers and educate homeowners on watering schedules Identify opportunities to improve system performance and recommend solutions Maintain accurate service notes, photos, and recommendations using company software Operate company vehicle and equipment safely and responsibly Deliver professional, friendly customer service at every visit Collaborate with team members to uphold Lawn Sense service standards
