Vibration Analyst RedBalloon LLC Seagoville, TX Job Details Full-time $30 - $45 an hour Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Report writing Interpersonal skills ISO standards Microsoft Office Root cause analysis Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Job Summary The Machinery Vibration Analyst/Millwright works with our technical and maintenance teams to maintain and/or improve the reliability of rotating equipment and meet customer's reliability goals. This will be accomplished through data analytics, machinery forecasting, and customer relationships.Responsibilities Duties:
Coach and mentor peers in compliance with EOS strategy Oversee predictive program and condition monitoring administration: Rotate equipment such as centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, turbines, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, and motors for assigned customers Be skilled in the use of precision measuring and testing instruments to support forecasting decisions Identify maintenance work through observation, inspections, testing, and monitoring on a routine basis Possess knowledge and understanding to communicate problems discovered to the customer for repairs Provide written reports, when necessary, detailing probable causes of issues, and provide recommended action based on experience, historic trends, fault detection, or other means to provide accurate diagnostics Assist with equipment commissioning and acceptance testing based on customer requirements or ISO standards for newly installed equipment Document historical data within Cornerstone's Vibration Software Input historical data into Cornerstone's CMMS, giving quality feedback on the work executed to include accurate time to complete the job and ensuring task lists have been marked as complete, and the statuses are accurate Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA's) and investigations. Provide Customers with findings and reportsExpectations:
Proactively Coach and mentor peers, mechanics and others on the EOS Culture and continued effort to have high expectations around work execution and alignment that embraces change and drives value creation and waste elimination Monitor and provide recommendations on machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturer's specifications Review and monitor rotating equipment condition, including vibration data, lube oil results and utilize other critical operating process data such as pressures, temperatures, flows, loads & efficiencies to determine equipment health Accurately fill out, complete, and submit all required overhaul checklists and inspection forms to the Customer and CMMS at the end of the working day Input accurate time into CMMS daily to maintain correct metrics and accounting Report equipment deficiencies utilizing CMMS systems Appropriately mentor other mechanics as needed, being willing and eager to share technical knowledge Support the Field Service team as required. This will include, but not limited to, relaying scopes, assisting in mechanical repairs as needed, build points or routes for vibration readings as needed, and assist with trouble shooting when required. Be willing to research and attend continuing education classes that fall within the scope and range of services that Cornerstone Mechanical currently provides and may provide in the future 100% environmental and safety compliance Zero safety violations Maintain fleet vehicles and job site housekeeping in line with Cornerstone and customer standards Complete all task lists and mark them at the end of each day in our CMMS Qualifications Punctual and organized Teachable and committed to continuous learning Strong team player Safety-Oriented Requirements ISO CAT 2 or 3 certification 2+ years of Industrial conducting/analyzing experience MS Office About Us We are a Christian-owned company that strives to uphold the principles of Proverbs 22:1, prioritizing a good reputation over material wealth.
