Field Service Technician

• Compactor & Baler Repair We are seeking a Field Service Technician
• Compactor and Baler Repair Tech to join our team, specializing in the repair and maintenance of compactors and balers. $24.00
• $27.

00 per hour (based on experience) + overtime. Training provided for the right candidate; relevant mechanical or technical experience preferred. Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of compactors and balers to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement effective solutions. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Install new equipment and upgrade existing systems as required. Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation of work performed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in repairing and maintaining compactors, balers, or similar industrial equipment (preferred but will train) Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a drug test Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to travel to various job sites and work in different environments.
