Field Service Technician/Mechanical

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer locations in North America. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and support, contributing to their overall satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Perform on-site installation, maintenance, service and repair of IBS PPG equipment at customer paper mill locations and in our shop. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using various tools and techniques. Support repairs and product assembly as needed in our shop & production facility. Support sales with audits and inspections as well as service reports and follow ups with clients. Document service activities, including repairs performed and parts used. Required Skills & Knowledge Mechanical Technician with 2 or more year's field maintenance experience. Hands on problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. Capacity to build confidence with our customers - you will be the " go-to" person . Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in diagnostics and repairs. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Willing & able to travel (Canada, Mexico & U.S.) up to 70% of the time . Ability to work independently and become a product specialist.
