Onsite Job Summary We are looking for an FSO Technician to provide onsite technical support, hardware installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment deployment. The technician will work with IT/networking equipment and follow established procedures to resolve technical issues and maintain reliable operations. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, replace, and maintain IT and networking hardware. Perform hardware troubleshooting and diagnose equipment issues. Rack and stack servers, switches, and other data center equipment. Perform cable installation, labeling, testing, and cable management. Replace faulty components such as hard drives, power supplies, memory, and network components. Perform equipment moves, adds, changes, and decommissioning activities. Respond to onsite service requests and technical incidents. Follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures. Document hardware changes, troubleshooting activities, and completed work. Use ticketing systems to update work status and provide detailed resolution notes. Coordinate with remote engineering/NOC teams when issues require escalation. Maintain an organized and safe work environment. Required Skills 3+ years of experience in IT, field service, desktop support, data center, or hardware support. Experience troubleshooting computer/server hardware. Basic understanding of networking and cabling. Experience with hands-on hardware installation and replacement. Ability to read technical documentation and follow procedures. Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux environments. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work onsite and handle physical equipment. Preferred Skills Data center or critical infrastructure experience. Experience with structured cabling, fiber, or copper connections. Experience with servers, switches, routers, or storage equipment. Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow. CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move IT equipment as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around racks/equipment for extended periods. Ability to work in a data center or technical operations environment.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
