Field Service Coordinator Full-Time | Direct Hire Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is hiring a Field Service Coordinator for a direct-hire opportunity with a client based out of Roanoke, VA . This role supports the Field Service department by coordinating customer service and warranty issues, scheduling technicians, ordering materials, and maintaining accurate service records. Job Summary The Field Service Coordinator assists the Department Manager in responding to customer service and warranty issues, scheduling field personnel, ordering materials, maintaining field stock, and preparing quotes. This position requires strong organization, communication, and knowledge of electrical and construction practices. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer service and warranty inquiries Schedule and direct field service technicians and contractors Prepare written field instructions and statements of work Order and ship materials for field service and warranty jobs Maintain field service inventory, tools, and equipment Track job records, materials lists, spreadsheets, and monthly reports Review engineering drawings, control prints, and material lists Assist with management of field service trucks and trailers (registrations, insurance, fuel cards, repairs) Monitor safety requirements and equipment compliance Support department manager with additional assigned tasks Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 5-10 years of experience in construction and/or electrical work required Working knowledge of electrical wiring standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC) Knowledge of general construction practices Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong math, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills Why Apply?
