Our client, a provider of electrical and industrial power systems services, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician (FSR3) to support customers' field operations. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and service electrical systems, industrial controls, and related equipment at client sites — including transformers, circuit breakers, LV/MV switchgear, and PLC controls — while serving as the primary point of contact for customers during service visits. The role requires frequent travel, including overnight stays, to customer sites and company locations across the country.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a field service technician, with a focus on power systems, electrical equipment, or industrial controls Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, transformers, and circuit breakers Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; comfortable working independently and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with field service management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Familiarity with industry-standard test equipment (multimeters, breaker test sets) Willingness and ability to travel frequently with overnight stays, and to work overtime, weekends, and on-call as needed Ability to work in full PPE (arc-flash suits, hard hats, safety glasses, safety boots, fall protection) and perform physical field work, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/working on job sites for extended periods Valid driver's license and clean driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS NFPA 70E, OSHA
30, or other relevant technical certifications Experience with low- and medium-voltage electrical systems Basic experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and protective relay systems

Salary:
