Field Service Technician Burlington, VT, United States | req29592 What you will enjoy doing• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen producing plants at customer sites
Solve field site issues and operate air separation plants with minimal supervision
Interact with customers across various production plant types, providing guidance, support, and clear communication
Maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities to uphold high company standards
Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems
Manage time effectively to complete operations, maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and diagnosing plant problems
Coordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and administrative requirements
Drive efficiency through strategic planning and project management, ensuring smooth plant operations What makes you great Hold a High School Degree; Associate Degree in a technical field preferred with two to five years of operations experience in air separation or similar process control environments
Demonstrate expertise in instrumentation, control, and general maintenance of industrial equipment
Apply proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including compressors; military engineering experience is highly regarded
Exhibit strong safety awareness and strict adherence to procedures while troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment
Understand process control schematics and communicate technical information clearly in both verbal and written form
Utilize proficiency with computers, Microsoft applications, and process control systems supported by strong organizational and time management skills
Meet physical requirements including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heights
Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call-in coverage ensuring reliable and safety-focused presence during critical operational periods
