Your expertise will help clients recover from unexpected disasters while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, flood, or fire restoration situations, providing immediate on-site assessment and action. Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques to prevent mold growth and further property damage. Conduct thorough cleaning, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, and debris removal to restore properties to pre-loss condition. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and Xactimate (a claims estimating software) to document damages accurately and prepare detailed reports for insurance purposes. Follow strict safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use and respiratory protection to ensure personal safety and compliance with industry standards. Operate company vehicles responsibly during on-call coverage shifts, maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness. Collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process. Skills Demonstrated emergency response readiness with the ability to act quickly under pressure in water damage or flood scenarios. Strong knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and flood recovery techniques. Experience with construction or related fields is a plus for understanding building structures during repairs. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication and professionalism when interacting with clients and team members. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection at all times during restoration activities. Willingness to participate in on-call coverage schedules for after-hours emergencies ensuring rapid response readiness.
