SERVPRO of Rock County is hiring! Lead the crew. Own the job. Help put things back together. Every restoration job is different, but one thing stays the same: our customers are counting on us to take control of a difficult situation and help make it right. As a Restoration Supervisor/Crew Lead , you'll take the lead on residential and commercial restoration projects involving water, fire, mold, and other property damage. You'll work hands-on alongside your crew while also providing direction, communicating with customers, documenting job progress, and making sure each project is completed safely and according to SERVPRO standards. This isn't a desk supervisor position. We're looking for someone who is comfortable leading from the front, someone who can direct a crew, make decisions in the field, communicate professionally with customers, and jump in to help get the job done. A Day in the Life Your morning starts at our Janesville office with a team meeting to review the day's schedule and assignments. You'll make sure your crew understands the plan, confirm the truck is stocked with the equipment and materials you'll need, and head to your first job. From there, every day can look different. You may arrive at a home with several inches of water in the basement and take the lead on determining what needs to be extracted, removed, documented, and dried. Another day, you may be coordinating cleanup after a fire, overseeing demolition, setting drying equipment, or monitoring an existing project to make sure it's progressing as expected. Throughout the day, you'll assign tasks and provide direction to Restoration Technicians, keep the Project Manager updated on job progress, document the work being completed, and communicate directly with customers about what we're doing and what they can expect next. You'll also be working right alongside your crew. When there's demolition to complete, equipment to move, or water to extract, you'll be expected to jump in. At the end of the day, you'll make sure documentation is complete, equipment is accounted for, the truck is ready for the next job, and your Project Manager has the information needed to keep the project moving. What You'll Be Doing Lead residential and commercial restoration projects involving water, fire, mold, and other property damage Provide daily direction and oversight to Restoration Technicians Coordinate job-site activities and assign tasks to crew members Perform and oversee water extraction, demolition, cleaning, debris removal, and equipment setup Set, monitor, and document professional drying equipment Take job-site photos and maintain accurate documentation of work performed Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and commercial customers Provide customers with clear expectations and updates throughout the restoration process Identify job-site concerns and communicate changes or additional needs to the Project Manager Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to SERVPRO standards Train and mentor newer team members in proper restoration procedures Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and job-site organization Help ensure projects stay on schedule and crews remain productive Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency restoration services What We're Looking For Restoration experience is great, but leadership ability, dependability, and the willingness to learn are just as important to us. We're looking for someone who: Is comfortable taking the lead and providing direction to others Leads by example and isn't afraid to work alongside their crew Can keep a team organized and productive throughout the day Shows up on time, prepared, and ready to work Takes ownership of problems instead of waiting for someone else to solve them Communicates confidently and professionally with customers Can remain calm and make good decisions when plans change Pays attention to details and understands the importance of accurate documentation Takes pride in producing quality work Is comfortable working in physically demanding and sometimes challenging environments Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Previous experience in restoration, construction, mitigation, property maintenance, skilled trades, cleaning, warehouse leadership, field supervision, or other hands-on leadership roles is helpful. Don't have restoration experience? That doesn't automatically rule you out. If you have experience leading people, working in a hands-on environment, and taking ownership of getting the job done, we're willing to teach you the restoration side of the business. Why SERVPRO? We know there are plenty of places hiring. We're looking for people who want more than just another job and are interested in developing their skills and taking on greater responsibility.
