In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of appliances, mechanical systems, and HVAC equipment at customer sites. Your hands-on skills will ensure that clients experience seamless operation of their essential systems, boosting their satisfaction and trust in our brand. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your mechanical knowledge, technical troubleshooting skills, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment. We would be willing to train someone if needed. this job requires driving from job site to job site. we work all over the state of Wisconsin. there is on call and late nights. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of appliances including refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and mechanical systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct HVAC & appliance repairs with precision, ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system diagnostics. Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety protocols during on-site visits. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly about repair processes, timelines, and system care tips. Assist with equipment maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of mechanical systems. Have knowledge in electrical testing and repair Experience Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex refrigeration, HVAC, air conditioning, and kitchen equipment issues. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals is essential for accurate diagnostics. Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices in construction or industrial environments is preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in various settings. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in career growth within the field.
