Role:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Field Network Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and data communications equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, traveling, and problem-solving in the field. Whether you're experienced or just getting started in the industry, we provide training and the tools you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LANs) , Wide Area Networks (WANs) , and related telecom/data communication systems. Provide on-site service and customer support during field visits. Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of network and telecom equipment. Pull, run, and terminate CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6 , and low-voltage cabling . Mount and install telecom equipment, racks, and accessories (APS, VOIP systems, fiber components). Diagnose technical issues and determine effective solutions. Perform field testing, troubleshooting, and repair of technical systems and components.

Requirements:

Some technical experience helpful , but not required — we will train the right candidate . Must own a reliable vehicle and a laptop . Willingness to travel extensively (average 200-600 miles/week) throughout the state. Ability to work flexible hours (this is not a 9-5 desk job). Must be at least 25 years old (for insurance/mileage purposes). Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and customer service mindset. Comfortable working independently and managing field-based responsibilities.
