About the Role As a Restoration Construction (RCN) Technician, you'll perform hands-on repair and rebuild work in homes affected by fire, water, or storm damage. You'll work closely with project managers to keep jobs on schedule, deliver quality trim, drywall, and paint work, and treat every property owner with the care they deserve during a difficult time. What You'll Do Perform carpentry tasks: trim work, door hanging, base installation, mitering, casing installation, and precision material cuts Operate power tools and table saws safely Deliver materials to job sites using a company vehicle Complete painting tasks including texturing, spray application, and roll-on techniques Install drywall, tape and mud seams, sand for a smooth finish, and feather drywall into existing walls Match and apply stain with proper technique Communicate regularly with your assigned manager and follow work orders Rotate through an on-call board-up schedule, responding to emergency situations as needed Show empathy and professionalism when working with property owners Experience We're Hiring For 3+ years of RCN Technician experience Able to independently handle carpentry and painting tasks Strong customer service track record OSHA 30, Fall Protection, IICRC, and Forklift/Telehandler certifications required (or willingness to obtain) What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent 2-4 years of experience in carpentry, painting, or drywall Strong math skills for construction measurements (including fraction calculations) Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Encircle, and PSA Web Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills A collaborative attitude and a genuine commitment to customer service Preferred/Specialized Training
