Job Description

Seasonal Position:
Primarily October-December, with potential future opportunities Brightside Marin is hiring motivated technicians to join our team for our busy fall and Christmas light season. Brightside Marin has served 4,000+ clients over more than three years , providing professional exterior cleaning services throughout Marin County. As we head into our biggest Christmas light season yet, we are looking for dependable, coachable people who want to work hard, learn quickly, and be part of a strong team. What You'll Be Doing During October, work will primarily consist of exterior cleaning services such as: Window cleaning Pressure washing Gutter cleaning Solar panel cleaning Other residential exterior cleaning work As we move into November and December, the position will transition heavily toward professional Christmas light installation , and most of your work will involve installing and servicing holiday lighting for residential and commercial clients.
Christmas light work will include:
Installing roofline lighting Working from ladders Working safely on roofs Wrapping trees and landscaping Installing lights on bushes, fences, columns, and other exterior features Running and organizing extension cords and timers Troubleshooting lighting issues Removing lights at the end of the season Keeping jobsites clean and organized Who We're Looking For We care much more about attitude, safety, and coachability than prior professional experience. A strong candidate is someone who: Is comfortable working on ladders and at heights Is comfortable safely working on residential roofs Has good balance and body awareness Can perform active outdoor work for extended periods Takes safety extremely seriously Shows up on time and is dependable Learns quickly and listens to instructions Is coachable and does not bring an ego to the team Works well with a young, fast-moving crew Has a positive attitude Takes care around customers' homes and property Can communicate professionally with customers and coworkers Is willing to work hard during a very busy seasonal period Prior exterior cleaning, construction, landscaping, roofing, ladder, or Christmas light experience is helpful but not required . We provide paid training. Schedule & Seasonal Expectations This position is primarily designed for our busy October through December season . Hours may increase significantly as Christmas light season ramps up in November and December. We want to be transparent that work typically slows considerably during the winter after the Christmas season ends. Strong performers may have opportunities to continue with Brightside, and technicians may also be invited back when our exterior cleaning season ramps back up in the spring and continues through the fall. There are also opportunities to grow into greater responsibility within the company as Brightside continues expanding.
