Job Description

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Coordinator will perform tasks such as repairs, maintenance and upkeep of the facilities . The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are functional.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete work-orders in an effective and timely manner Standard handyman work including: appliance repair & troubleshooting, painting, plumbing, light electric, light carpentry, & patching drywall. Porter/Grounds keeping work during downtime. Perform fixes such as repairing broken locks, windows, flooring etc. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues Install appliances and equipment Exterior preventative maintenance Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation) Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with plumbing, painting, hardware installation, trouble shooting & repairs, electric, and other general maintenance. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems Experience using hand and electrical tools Very good communication and interpersonal skills Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job Physical stamina and dexterity Reliable mode of transportation Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Successful completion of an apprenticeship preferred Experience and solid in repairs knowledge Required Documents Valid California Driver's License or valid State ID Vehicle Insurance as required by law' '
