Job Description
Maintenance Handyman Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Handyman to help maintain our hotel property and facilities. This position is responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, preventative upkeep, and responding to maintenance needs throughout the property. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and experienced in a variety of trades. There may be an opportunity for the selected candidate to stay on the property to assist with after-hours/on-call maintenance needs. On-property accommodations are not guaranteed and would be discussed based on availability and operational needs. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance throughout the property. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues. Complete basic carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and other property upkeep. Perform pool maintenance and assist with related equipment as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs. Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and accurate maintenance records. Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors when specialized repairs are required. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment for guests and staff. Assist with other property maintenance projects as needed. Requirements Previous experience in hotel, facility, apartment, or general property maintenance preferred. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool maintenance, carpentry, painting, and general repairs. Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs independently. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Dependable and able to manage multiple maintenance priorities.
