Job Description

Overview We are a locally owned property management and hospitality company based in Mount Vernon, Ohio, seeking a dependable, honest, and hardworking individual to join our growing team. This position starts part-time (15-30 hours per week) with opportunities for additional hours and increased responsibility. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and seeing the results of your work each day, this could be an excellent fit. No two days are the same. One day you may be planting trees and landscaping, the next preparing a vacation rental for arriving guests, repairing small equipment, building shelving, painting, moving furniture, or helping improve historic properties. We value initiative, integrity, and a positive attitude above all else. The ideal candidate is physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds, enjoys both indoor and outdoor work, is comfortable using power tools, and has basic computer and smartphone skills. Mechanical aptitude, handyman experience, carpentry, landscaping, or small engine repair experience are all strong advantages, but we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates reliability, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn. We offer a flexible part-time schedule, competitive pay of $20-28 per hour based on experience, paid training, and the opportunity to grow with a business that values quality workmanship and customer service. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and excellent references are required. Background and reference checks will be completed before employment. If you're looking for more than just another job—and want to become an important part of a growing local business—we would love to hear from you.
