Job Description
Join Our Team as a Maintenance Handyman At Golden Grail Group we're looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Handyman to help maintain our commercial office properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and taking pride in keeping buildings safe, clean, and operating efficiently. This part-time position (3 days per week) offers a consistent schedule while providing a variety of maintenance and repair projects. Whether you're an experienced handyman or someone with general maintenance experience looking to grow your skills, we'd love to meet you. No two days are exactly alike, you'll help keep our offices running smoothly through preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and facility improvements. Responsibilities You'll assist with the day-to-day maintenance of our office facilities, including: Perform minor building repairs including drywall patching, painting, door adjustments, and basic carpentry Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, air filters, and other building fixtures Assist with plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and general maintenance repairs Assemble and set up office furniture, desks, shelving, and conference rooms Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders Conduct routine inspections of offices and common areas Perform preventative maintenance to help avoid future repairs Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Assist with seasonal exterior maintenance and general property cleanup Follow all company safety policies and building regulations Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: Basic carpentry and painting experience Minor plumbing and electrical troubleshooting knowledge Experience using common hand and power tools Strong attention to detail Good organizational and time management skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to work well as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous handyman, maintenance, janitorial, or construction experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to: Lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and supplies Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and reach throughout the workday Safely operate hand and power tools Work indoors and outdoors as needed Schedule Part-Time 3 days per week Day shift Occasional flexibility may be needed based on maintenance priorities Why Join Us?
