We're a growing team and we're looking for dependable crew members to help us deliver a great experience for our clients this season. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Holiday Lighting Crew Member to join our seasonal crew. You'll help install holiday lights and decorations on homes, businesses, trees, and outdoor structures throughout the Charleston area. This is a physically active role — carrying, setting up, and climbing both large extension ladders and A-frame ladders (ranging from light to heavy) is a major part of the day-to-day work. Pay & Schedule $25-30/hour, paid as a 1099 independent contractor Seasonal work, 2026 season runs from October 19 through January 16 Part-time; typical operating hours are 9 AM-5 PM, Monday through Saturday, though some days may start earlier or run later to finish a job Flexible scheduling — you don't need to be available every day, but days worked must be scheduled at the beginning of the season Responsibilities Carry, position, and climb large extension ladders and A-frame ladders multiple times per day as a core part of the job Assist with hanging holiday lights and decorations on roofs, windows, trees, and lawns Carry and organize supplies such as lights, extension cords, and ladders Follow safety procedures while working on ladders or rooftops Help test lights, troubleshoot issues, and ensure displays are installed correctly Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers Qualifications Comfortable carrying, setting up, and climbing large extension ladders and A-frame ladders of varying weights throughout the workday Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods Punctual, dependable, and works well as part of a team Willing to learn and follow instructions Reliable transportation to job sites required Preferred Experience No prior experience is necessary — full training is provided.
