Southern Boys Christmas Lights is hiring hardworking, dependable individuals to join our installation team for the upcoming Christmas season. We provide custom-designed, professional Christmas light installations throughout The Woodlands, Conroe, and the North Houston area. No Christmas light installation experience is required whatsoever. Our installation process is straightforward, and we provide hands-on training before the season begins. We are looking for people who are dependable, coachable, comfortable working outdoors, and willing to work hard as part of a team.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Full-Time Christmas Light Installers Part-Time Christmas Light Installers Two Crew Leaders With Trucks We are primarily hiring full-time installers, but part-time opportunities are also available. A truck is not required for regular installation positions. Applicants with a dependable truck may qualify for additional responsibilities and increased pay.
SEASON AND SCHEDULE
Training will begin before the installation season starts. The official season begins during the last week of September, with installations continuing through the Christmas season. Christmas light removals generally take place during January and February. Full-time installers are expected to be available Monday through Friday. Additional evening, extended-hour, and overtime opportunities will be available based on workload. The amount of additional work available will allow motivated team members to work more hours and earn more money throughout the season.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Install professional Christmas lights on rooflines Safely work from extension ladders, step ladders, and elevated areas Measure, custom-cut, connect, and secure Christmas lighting systems Install wreaths, garland, timers, extension cords, and other holiday decorations Troubleshoot and repair lighting issues Load, unload, organize, and care for installation materials and equipment Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Protect and respect every customer's home and property Follow company installation methods and safety procedures Assist with Christmas light removal and organization after the holiday season

CREW LEADER OPPORTUNITIES
Southern Boys Christmas Lights is also hiring two dependable crew leaders who own trucks. Crew leaders will help manage daily installations, keep crews organized, communicate with management, maintain quality standards, and ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently. Crew leader candidates must be responsible, organized, comfortable leading others, and willing to take ownership of their crew's performance. Applicants selected for positions requiring the use of their trucks will receive increased compensation, as detailed elsewhere in the job posting.
